Level 1 Beginner-any age from 8yrs
You will work on a butter knife,letter opener, spatula, or 'totem'
starting with a blank piece of beautiful timber.

The beginnings of knife technique will be taught, reading the grain and how to finish your creation so that it will last for years to come.
​
At the end of the session, you will go home with your finished work.
​
In order to progress to Level 2 Workshop you must have completed Level 1.
​
Duration of Workshop: 3 hours
Please note: A Certificate of Attendance is given to each participant.
Level 2 Intermediate-any age from 8yrs
If you have already done one of our Workshops, the next stage is the Intermediate Level.
​
In this Workshop you will build on the skills already learnt and progress to make a spoon. You will be taught more carving techniques and more advanced designing.
​
At the end of the session, you will go home with your finished spoon.
​
Duration of Workshop: 3 hours (2 sessions recommended to make a spoon)
Please note: A Certificate of Attendance is given to each participant.

Level 3 Advanced-any age from 8yrs
Having completed Level 1 and 2 you will be ready to design and make your own project.​
​
Choose a piece of cherry, walnut, beach or whatever we have recently harvested to make as a gift to yourself or someone else.
​
The skills you have learnt already will be developed and used to make an object of your choice. Make a shoe horn, letter opener, salad servers, knife and spoon set, modern rosary bead or 'totem.'

Duration of Workshop: 3 hours (2 sessions may be needed)
